This article explores how digital tools and technologies are reshaping entrepreneurship in these regions, offering both challenges and opportunities. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study investigates key factors such as inadequate infrastructure and shortages in digital skills, and regulatory constraints that prevent digital transformation from being adopted. It also examines the vast opportunities for market expansion, operational efficiency, and innovation presented by digital technologies. The findings highlight the importance of fostering an enabling environment through policy support and skill development to fully leverage digital transformation for SME growth. The article concludes with recommendations for policymakers and entrepreneurs to create a more digitally inclusive and resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem.
